TESC has Art Appreciation listed as 102 and Art of Western World listed as 121- does that mean I can take both classes without an overlap? Is there any way to tell when there is an overlap?

Different numbers equals different classes, you should be fine.

Is there any way to tell when there is an overlap? They are completely different classes. Completely. Art Appreciation is just that you learn about art and different aspects of it. Now Art of the Western World is really Art History I at most colleges. TESC offers the course or you can take the DSST exam.
