First, MSIT 5910: Capstone Project can only be taken after all the previous courses are completed, so you have to take it in a separate term as the last course. You can see it in the learning pathway. Second, you can't take more than two courses in a term in the first two terms. When you enroll, your program advisor registers you for two courses. When you complete your first term, you are still a non-degree-seeking student because you haven't completed the first three courses to become a degree-seeking student (DSS). You can start taking 4 courses per term, depending on your GPA, beginning from your third term.(02-18-2026, 03:45 AM)icecubetr Wrote: University of the People MSIT is not competency based, but it can be finished in 5 terms (1 year) by taking 2+2+4+3+1 courses.
Just curious... Does it have to follow that 2+2+4+3+1 format? Or can someone do something like this, 2+3+3+3+1 or a 2+2+3+3+2 format? I am looking at the MSIT because it's RA, other than that, I may look at Woolf for similar pricing options.
