CSU mgmt 311 - operations management - proctored?
#1
Anyone take Operations Management at Colorado State - Pueblo for Spring 2012, or recently?

I was just about to register when I noticed the paper said requires identification of a proctor. I could have sworn I read here this class was not proctored.

If it is proctored that has me rethinking whether to take it at CSU or not. Almost would rather give the TESC a shot..... Sad

CSU has undergone some changes lately...I would call them directly and ask.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Finishing up the course right now. On the Final Exam #4 with 790 points, possible 96.5% at the end. Great course. Took a 2 month break and jumped right back in, finishing 12 exercises and 2 exams in 2 weeks. The Professor is great too. Super fast email responses and very fast grading too!!

I signed up in Nov. 2011 and fell under the Fall/Winter 11 category, so regarding the "proctor" it may be a new policy. All my current exercises and tests are all non-proctored, un-timed and open book.

Alternatively, the TESC course was not bad at all. The first few papers were your standard 2-4 page things, but on material that it was easy to fill in that space. The last few written assignments could be completed much, much faster. All of the material was relevant to the course, not the nonsense fluff some of the TESC courses like to throw in. The midterm was proctored but not horrible (I had an insanely busy few weeks at work and home before the midterm and took it cold, not a minute of studying, and got a B...low B, but still a B) and the final project was entirely doable. While it is on a set schedule with assigned due dates, the calendar and assignments are set such that other projects or courses can easily be completed in between due dates.
