Can Clep & Community College courses be used to satisfy your business core and degree requirements with TESC?
excuse my ignorance, i am an international student and I don't understand the "200 level" "300 level" concept fully ...

I can't say with a 100 percent certainty but I would say yes for two (2) reasons:
Number 1...because this is what I'm going to do!!!
Number 2...as long as the courses you are taking at the local community college are number 200+, & they are a part of your degree requirements, then TESC should transfer them in with no problem.
***Side Note*** My only concern is how does TESC transfer credit if the community college is based on a quarter-hour system instead of a semester hour.

3 quarter = 2 semester
4 quarter = 2.66 semester
5 quarter = 3.33 semester
So be careful if you are taking a required course in quarter hours because you could end up with 2.66 semester hours instead of the full 3. I had some wonky credits because of the conversion.

Also, TESC takes a max of 80 semester credit hours from a CC or other 2-year school, but the other 40 can be composed of lower level CLEPS / DANTES, which would allow you to fullfill the gen ed requirements by testing and complete the bulk of your CBOK with CC classes.

The other 40 could therefore be CLEP, DANTES, ECE, TECEP, FEMA, etc., etc.
I'm considering TESC for my BA also, but I'm starting to think I may have to take some online classes at universities given the 80-credit limit for community college.

Taking some upper level credits may be worthwhile especially if you're considering graduate studies. A degree made up completely of lower level credits wouldn't be very impressive.
