Another Silly Degree Mill: Newton Hills University
#1
Newton Hills University (newtonhillsuniversity dot net)is a degree mill that pulled their entire website contents from Yale, photos, descriptions and all!

Quote:Newton Hills University is a large research university with a wide array of programs, departments, schools, colleges, centers, and many affiliated organizations.
The university traces its roots to the colonial clergymen led an effort to establish a local college in the tradition of American education. In 1701 the Connecticut legislature adopted a charter “to erect a Collegiate School.” The school officially became Newton Hills College in 1718.
Take a stroll through Newton Hills' history, and learn about the traditions that have become part of the fabric of our university.

Climate Change

Across our campus and with our international research partners, members of the our community are focusing on efforts to address global climate change.

Also pulled from the University of Manitoba: (just replaced Canadians with Americans)
Quote:Graduate students are leading the way to discoveries that matter to Americans. Challenge yourself, expand your horizons and continue your education in one of our many graduate programs.

Pulled from Yale:

Quote:FIND YOUR FOCUS
At Newton Hills University we attract people from around the world who share our ideas and vision for positive change. We believe in embracing challenges and taking actions. We encourage our students to explore the academic landscape, venturing into unfamiliar fields of knowledge and, perhaps, discovering new passions that will take them in a different direction altogether.  Along the way, faculty members help guide them, and fellow students offer diverse perspectives that can shed new light on the path.  We also encourage our students to travel literally, by going abroad for study, research, or work. By nurturing this spirit of inquiry,  We aims to prepare global citizens who are instilled with a life-long love of learning.

==================yadayada yada, links to all Yale Majors...======================

They pulled the Links to Yale and all, their point of contact is the good old 8, Copthall 00152, Roseau Valley, Dominica. and their social media links redirect to a web developer named Timothy John Barnard (https://twitter.com/sitepad) .

Internal links - to further info, etc. are busted. Hopefully, this entity might disappear. I believe 8 Copthall is an office where the main business is establishing International Business Corporations - a cheap way to start a company. Apparently, you can use the word "University" in your company name. These "universities" have been setting up at this address for oh- maybe 15 years at least.

A few hundred bucks, a cheap computer and an internet connection - and bang - you're a Uni. Wunnerful, ain't it?
