Could someone tell me how long it took for EC to receive their transcript from ACE after it was ordered? I have had quite a few transcripts sent to EC from a variety of places, and they have all been sent and received within 3-5 business days usually. Unfortunately ACE doesn't seem that quick, and it looks like they don't send an email or anything to let you know when its sent.

I have a question about Aleks. I am sorry if this question has been answered before by someone, but I could not find the answer to my question. Okay here it is. Does TESC except Aleks Beginning Algebra for credit??????
I am helping someone with their degree plan and I was hoping this course could work for them.
Thanks

I just noticed that you took that course through Aleks. So did it end up on your eval? They probably did not place it under science and math because you had so many Aleks courses. So did place it under General Electives? This person needs it for the math requirement. Your information has helped me greatly and I really do appreciate it.
Thank you

Yes, it ended up general education electives.

List of ALEKS classes at TESC
ok, so I'm pretty sure we have a final list of ALEKS classes for TESC. It appears as if 2 of them duplicate, which usually means you won't get credit for both- so choose either/or from those.
TESC ALEKS evaluation
001 Beginning Algebra- MAT102
002 Intermediate Algebra- MAT115
003 College Algebra- MAT121 *TESC Duplicate College Algebra w/trig
004 College Algebra with Trig- MAT121 *TESC Duplicate College Algebra
005 PreCal- MAT129 *TESC Dulplicate Trig
006 Trig- MAT129 *TESC duplicates PreCal
007 Intro Stats- STA201
008 Business Stats- OPM351
009 Stats for Beh. Science- STA199
Based on this list, anyone should be able to obtain 12 non-duplicating math credits plus 6 non-duplicating stats credits for a total of 18 possible math/natural science credits. When math/science general education area is full, those overflow into general education electives.
Additionally, business stats would be a free elective (not general education elective) for everyone except business majors.

My son just banged out Beg Alg yesterday. He did the intake eval and it took him 1 hr and 15 min. He is happy to get 3 college credits done so quickly. On to Interm Alg next.

Can someone tell me how long it normally takes ACE to process an Aleks course? My son completed Beginning Algebra on 10-28, we sent it to Ace on the same day. The ACE site shows Completed/Submitted/Reviewed all on the 28th BUT it is still sitting on APPROVED-SUBMITTED TO ACE FOR PROCESSING for the last 7 days now.
Is this normal?? The site indicates that it takes between 24-72 hrs. I called Ace yesterday although nothing has changed yet.
My son is anxious to start his next Aleks course but I would feel much better having everything completed through ACE before moving on.

I just experienced the exact same thing, Momtomany5. I sent a course to ACE on the 28th, and didn't hear back from them until this morning to say that the course had been accepted.
In the past two courses I took through Aleks, I turned both in on Sundays, and had received the email about acceptance the following Tuesday, but for some reason this was a bit different. I figured that it may be because of the weekend, and that I'd hear something yesterday about it, but I didn't so I filled out their Contact ACE email form.
One thing that I have noticed is that it takes a few hours to a day after receiving the email stating that the class has been accepted to update the course listing and move it from the Course List to Transcript Courses.
Check your email, you may have already received the acceptance. once you have that, it should be safe to start up another course (or cancel Aleks if you got what you needed done.)
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully
