I want to take Principles of Sales there, but if anyone is interested, the exam has 10 short essay questions. Also, a case study (paper) is required. I wonder how long the paper needs to be. In addition it says you need online access to a Pearson site that's related to the textbook. Thankfully it's an older version they are using, to keep costs down, but it's still $100. I think that doesn't include the e-textbook either, because I think the bundle costs much more, but the title is confusing. I don't want to spend on that, so I think I'll try it without. But it's harder when there are papers/essays.
Then I want to take the International Management course. The syllabus instructs you to read all 11 chapters of the book, which is well over 300 pages. The book is around $200 (even used), or $40 to rent, but I think I will use an older edition to save money.
I would like to take others, but I'm not sure I can fit more than 1 or 2 others.
Edit: I am willing to do a paper and exam with essay questions. However, I'm not sure I can avoid the online access cost for Principles of Sales, because I think that's the only way you can find out what your case study paper needs. Maybe I shouldn't take this at Davar

Do most Davar courses require essays? I absolutely detest writing essays so won't take any classes thru there if I have to write any.

I wouldn't say most.
Edit: Now that I've looked at more, I guess most of the exams have the short essay questions.

Is there a list of tests that don't require essays?

I was going to ask this too. How do we find out what the exams consist of? At least with TECEP, CLEP, DSST - you get to see the exam guide before deciding on the exam. You can see what it consists of.

You download their study material, it comes with 3 items. Syllabus, Study Guide, Chapter Quizzes... It'll give you at least a general idea of what's tested.

You get a free account and download the course materials. It's a zip file and has a syllabus which explains the exam content, the required text and other required materials, outline of what you learn, etc. I just looked at the 2 exam zip files. They had the "slides" people are talking about, and at least one had quizzes.

I just looked at their Intro Marketing course and it's not good either. You have to take a proctored midterm in addition to the final, and write a case study (paper). But there are other ways to get Intro Marketing, I just hoped I could get it "free" (for only $15 proctor fee) during this month.

Business Law also has a written assignment and says you need online access to the Pearson site (expensive).
Business Ethics says there are 2 written assignments and something called an "open task". And you need online access.
Managerial Communications has only the final exam. But the exam does have 10 short essay questions. Edit: It also says you need online access.
Edit: Organizational Behavior and Principles of Management are the same as Managerial Communications.
Edit: Advanced Strategic Management has only the final with 10 short essay questions, and says the online access is recommended, not required.
The finals have multiple-choice too, but the essay questions count for a bunch.
