Hey guys, so I'm studying for the Organizational Behavior DSST and I've attempted to follow FCP's guide (found here) but it really isn't too specific. So, I will try to find an article for each topic listed in the DSST Fact Sheet (found here) and list them below.
I. Organizational Behavior Overview – 5%
a. The Field of Organizational Behavior
b. The Study of Organizational Behavior
These two pages - here and here - give a general overview of organizational behavior and theory, respectively. Skimming through it will probably suffice.
II. Individual Processes and Characteristics – 30%
a. Perceptual processes (here's a general overview of perception in organizational behavior, but following this page and googling the topics individually would be a better bet.)
b. Personality
c. Attitudes (follow the three links under "attitudes")
d. Learning processes
e. Motivation
f. Work stress and the individual
III. Interpersonal and Group Processes – 30%
a. Group dynamics
b. Group behavior and conflict (the previous link will have info on this)
c. Leadership
d. Power and politics (still looking)
e. Communication processes (still looking)
IV. Organizational Processes and Characteristics – 20%
a. Organizational Decision-Making
b. Organization Structure (still looking)
c. Organization Design (still looking)
V. Change and Development Processes – 15%
a. Basic processes and concepts of change
b. Applications and techniques of change and development
Here's some info on organizational change - here.
I'll edit this as I find appropriate articles to cover the topics I've missed. I have a general idea of what these topics would cover so it shouldn't be long for me to find them. I'll also be cross-referencing and reviewing with the companion site for two different editions of one f the recommended textbooks (found here and here).
Feel free to leave feedback or corrections. I hope this helps y'all.
