If I have an 83 now on sl eng comp 2 with three writing assignments left to turn in I will pass this class. Is that correct?

You just need to look at it and do the math. The course grade link will tell you how many points you have currently and what the total is. If you divide one by the other and it's >= 70% then you'll pass no matter what, otherwise, you have some score to meet on what remains.

I think so! If my calculation is correct, you're at 70.55% for the Entire Course. The remaining 3 assignments add up to 15% of the total score.
So, as long as you get them in and get a pass in each and every one of them, you're good to go. I would just continue working as you are now...

Don't feel bad. I am exceptionally math adverse. Seeing how each thing in the grading list is weighted differently, I stay confused about where I'm sitting in my classes.
It's ok though. I'd prefer to think I am failing. It is an internal incentive to try harder, plus I don't think you can just drop at SL, and I wouldn't want to, anyway.
