which exam is easiest and has less memorization?

Excelsior Abnormal psychology or Social psychology?

I don't think you can really expect to memorize this info. You really need to learn the concepts if you want to pass any Excelsior exam. They are scenario based and you have to apply the concepts and theories to get the correct answer. I would say that if you only need to take one of these exams review the IC flashcards and see which has material you are more familiar with and then take that exam. You may also want to look at some other sources such as textbook quizzes etc so see where your preference lies. If you go into these ECE's thinking you just need to memorize terms or theories you will not pass. Good luck!

I agree with Marianne, neither exam is going to be "easy". You will have to know the info and answer scenario type questions. Your best bet with these exams is purchase the 2 practice tests. The practice tests helped me more than any other resource for the real exam.
