Edgewood College/UpGrad DBA; potentially $11,250
Hi again.

I just got my final grade on the last course. Sorry for the delay, but it took five weeks to mark. This course was on Organizational Decision Making. The content and assignments were all on par with the other courses. There was a series of quizzes and three final assignments, one being an annotated bibliography, one a paper, and one an accompanying video. Overall, aside from the long marking delay about what I expected. I'm about halfway through the next course on Leading Change, which has a lot of carryover from the last course and feels pretty basic. I'll update you about a month after the marks come in. There's been no new information regarding the dissertation, but we should be starting that in earnest in mid-May. UpGrad is....well...still UpGrad. I've dealt with them a couple of times recently, and even the simplest things take weeks of emails to go back and forth. Same old, same old there. Thankfully, they do not play a big part in the program.

Have a great week!

I am supposed to be starting the DBA program at Edgewood at the end of this month and just wanted to share some of my early experience.
Having read the feedback about the UpGrad support I thought “Oh it will be ok!” My initial experience was smooth. The enrolment person was fast and helpful. Once I registered it all changed. I have been emailing back and forward with their support now and no one seems to answer the question asked. Something has gone wrong between Edgewood and UpGrad and if they don’t fix it soon I am not sure if I will be able to start this month, despite having been registered for a month.
So just be forewarned, the communication issues everyone warned us about do exist!

Hey. I'm sorry to hear about the experience you are having. My UpGrad experience is typically the same, though thankfully the Edgewood end of things is substantially better.

Fingers crossed, it works out for you.

Thank you, I’m glad to hear the Edgewood side is much better! One thing I was amazed they couldn’t give me was a course sequence/calendar. I just wanted to get a feel for the timing and order of classes but UpGrad have repeatedly turned down my requests!

Thank you, that is great, certainly gives me an idea of what the sequence might be and will be interesting to see if my courses follow the same pattern as yours (except starting with BUS 904 I would think).

Thank you lidel for sharing the course calendar! It gives a good idea of what to expect.

@mog538: I think we will be on the same program starting on 31-03-2025, feel free to drop me a message if you want to connect before. I had an introduction call with UpGrad which was ok, but the guy could not answer a single question as he did not know any details of the program. So I guess we need to wait for the Edgewood introduction call to get more information ? I currently have a hold on my account, but was told that it will be resolved when the program starts.

Edgewood College will officially become Edgewood University in July 2025, a welcome change for those who favor the prestige of "University" over "College."

I like the new name too.  Kind of like when TESC became TESU.

I also find it interesting that Edgewood is a Catholic college (soon to be University) but you would never know it from the name.
