Ethics Course At the Institutes?
#1
Regarding the Ethics course offered by The Institutes, I went to their website and found two options: Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals and Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct.

I'm not sure which of the two is the right one. Should I take both of them?

Also, is it true that The Institutes will lose their ACE accreditation for their Ethics classes at the end of July 2018? If I get it before then, will it still count towards my degree?

Select the FREE option. You should not do the $5 option. The paid option is for "Continuing Education credit," which is different than college credit. The free version is ACE approved for college credit.

Yes, it is currently set to expire at the end of July (it may renew, but there’s no guarantee so assume the worst). If you complete it before expiration it will still be accepted by the Big 3

You want 312N-H Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct

Thanks for the feedback and telling me about the free option. I was about to take the CE one.

I just have one more question, should I go with Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals or Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct? I'm just so confused at the moment.

Yes, ACE credit goes by date. Also, this can be done in about 2 hours.
