Hi everyone,
First i would like to thank everyone for all the inspirational stories and all the help and guidance that i have seen on this forum....reading a lot of them has helped me take that first step towards achieving my ultimate goal of getting a college degree. Reading through all these threads have made me realize how quicky/easily i can earn my degree by taking a few tests here and there. My question that i have is if anyone had any info on which CLEP/DSST/ECE's i could take to test out of my core Health Sciences Component courses and my Health Sciences Management Emphasis courses from Excelsior? Im currently making my way through taking CLEPS/DSST tests for a couple GE requirements that i still need but wanted to find out the fastest way possible to graduation without having to sit through too many classes. Here are the courses that i still need:
HEALTH SCIENCES COMPONENT (15 CREDITS) TO INCLUDE:
HSC 310 Writing and Communication in theHealth Science Professions (UL) 3.0
HSC 320 Healthcare Issues in Culturally Diverse Populations 3.0
HSC 365 Research for Evidence Based Practice 3.0
HSC 431 Introduction to Healthcare Delivery Systems 3.0
HSC 445 Introduction to Healthcare Informatics 3.0
Health Sciences Management Emphasis Needed
HSC 418 Management of Human Resources in Health Care Organizations 3.0
HSC 440 Leadership and Management in Health Care Seminar 3.0
HSC 414 Budget and Finance in Health Care Organizations 3.0
Ive asked my academic advisor at Excelsior this same question but she keeps telling me, "oh you should just take the courses we offer...testing out of these credits is extremely difficult, you dont want to do that..." Really? I mean, she might as well have just slapped me and called me stupid.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, everyone!!!
