Every state is different. My state does not give grants to students attending private schools. We can still receive federal grants, but not state grants. Some states have taken the extra step of making Western Governors University eligible for state grants, but other private schools are still ineligible.

I found the list of FEMAs they will accept through the search function, but am having no luck figuring out how many they will accept for credit, can anyone help me out with this? I didn't even submit my FEMA stuff, As far as I can recall you have to have them "washed" through a Community College in Maryland (Fredricksburg I think) which costs about $75 per credit hour to go on you EC transcript.
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum : InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing

My question was in response to sanantone suggesting that I look into COSC, who I believe take FEMA for no charge.

It seems that as a student, you can apply for and receive grants similar to the other schools in the state. Your Social sciences can't be filled by business classes (from the advisor online just now) If you have $85 go ahead and get the initial evaluation done and see where they place your current credits then you'll have a better idea.
