Why is she the dreaded prof.?

She tends to be overly critical of some students' use of APA citations, even if they're 100% correct. Some folks have complained about her on this forum and on Discord. So far, I have not had any problems with her.

BUS 200 is a breeze. the final is a word brochure, PowerPoint presentation, and an excel sheet. The professor is really nice.

I'm not entirely familiar with Office, so I'm learning a lot so far. I should begin with the first milestone once I find the right topic.

I was also anxious about page length, until I realized that the essay is double spaced. That is what makes the paper long.  There's also the title and references. In the end, my essay was 10 pages long.

As for the topic, I ended up using one of the  examples from the instructions, but I slightly modified it. It's not so bad once you figure it out.

I wrote it today and mine ended up 9 pages! I just made sure I chose a complex topic so I had plenty to write about

Thank you! I've been practicing with the templates and I turned in the first milestone today. I'm think going to wait until I get some feedback from the professor before I turn in the next one.

It's funny how things become easier once you find the right topic. I think I'm starting to prefer page length over word length. All of a sudden 8 pages sounds less intimidating than 2000 words!

I like to write in small text like font size 10 in Word (single spaced). So once I feel like I'm done writing I can turn it into font 12 and double space it. I often find I hit the limit. Once I go to clean it up and add a few details/etc I met requirements already.

Usually I break down the final assignment that has bullet points of what teacher's want (and the rubric). I paste them into the word file and write responses to each of them. This gives you plenty of material.

I studied quite a lot. Remember you have to score an 80 or higher on the exam to pass. Exams are not easy. There is a time limit on each one.

I didn't find BUS343 to be an easy exam. This was one of the more challenging courses. There's soooooooo much content in this course.
