#1: The Bible
Why? Leads me closer in my walk with God - couldn't live without it.
#2: The Ezekiel Option
Why? I like the first four books in Rosenberg series (not the last one-Dead Heat-because it gets me down) I like how in this book the author combines prophecy, action, and everything else in one book. It's really... haunting for lack of a better word. Cool, too, definitely.
#3: Calvin and Hobbes
Why? hilarious

Ya, totally! Bill Watterson is a genius. Calvin's 6 year old perspective on life is soooooo refreshing! Love it!

Wow ok so while reading all 5 pages of this I've found that most of my favorite books have been mentioned....Namely, anything by C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and J.R.R. Tolien.

And the Bible of course. Safely Home is an excellent book by Randy Alcorn, I've only read the first chapter though because I got busy. Has anyone here read his novel Edge Of Eternity? It's a really great read, I highly recommend it!
I'm going to look into reading G.K. Chesterton in the near future. I read but one chapter from The Man Who Was Thursday, and it was most intruiging.
I'm reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau, and then on to Civil Disobedience.
Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.
C. S. Lewis

That one took me forever to get through. Way too dense in my opinion. American Literature is interesting, though.

A pity there's no IC flashcard option for it.

It's way too something, all right. I found Walden to be boring -- and I love literature! But it was a while ago...
I never did get to Civil Disobedience, an interesting principle (to say the least).
