Finished my BA in Liberal Studies through TESC. Motivation!
#1
I just wanted to give a big Thank You!!! for all the helpful feedback from everyone on here.
I am not posting this for a congratulations but rather to try and help anyone else out there on their journey.

Seeing other posts of people finishing their degrees was one of my biggest motivators. And also helped me to get started in planning my degree.

It probably took me a good month of reading through this forum before anything started to make sense.

My goal was to be finished by 2016 and I did.

I completed 84 credits in 1 year, give or take a month.

I transferred in 27 free electives and 12 other credits.

Congratulations. Isn't it the best feeling in the world!? I think I began lurking on this board at the end of 2012. To think I entered into an AA program in January 2013 and am going to have a MS in another 5 months - it's just an amazing feeling of accomplishment. I remember how depressed I used to get thinking that I didn't have the money or the time to do all of this (considering personal issues that were going on). I wish there was a way they could advertise this on the top of the page like McDonald's 5 billions served or something. LOL. It'd be awesome to know how many people owe their degrees, in part, to this forum.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Road traveled: AA (2013) > BS (2014) > MS (2016) > Doctorate (2024)
