Hi All,
As I wind down my journey at EC for my BSLS and BS in Health Sciences with a focus in health care management I'm looking ahead to graduate school. I found this program by accident and I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about this program or school? I know we have FL residents here and I'm hoping they can offer some insight.
Florida Tech University Online MBA specializing in healthcare management. It is 36 credits, 100% online, RA school, no GMAT/GRE required and $790 per credit hour.
I currently teach at a community college in a medical office administration and medical coding curriculum program. I would like to continue to do so, but in case the landscape changes and I need to go into the private sector, I would like to have skills and the credentials to make a smooth transition. This is why I'm looking at this type of degree over a Masters in Education. It looks like this is mostly case study work and it has a capstone instead of a thesis or dissertation at the end. I don't want to do either of those!

Any and all comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I know I can get a cheaper standard MBA, but which would be preferable and make me more marketable? Since my teaching requirements would be 18 graduate hours in the subject taught, and I have no desire to teach standard business courses so I want to stay on the healthcare side. Healthcare is my passion and my last 30 years of experience, so it's a no brainer to stay with what I know!
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions. I'm hoping to be able to apply for a fall start!
Thanks!
