Okay, so I want to thank you guys/gals for helping last time with my questions.
I've spent some time trying to plug courses into templates -- looked at the BA in Liberal Studies, multiple variations of the BSBA, etc.
Through reading here, it seems that TECEP, SL and Saylor courses are the only online (entirely) credit options, right -- with Saylor being the cheapest of those? Also, I should be doing the pay per credit through TESC, correct? ..and on SL courses, is there anything limiting the speed at all at which you can complete the course (I know some courses have breaks/study periods automated into them)? What is a reasonable expectation for how long it might take to finish a course there if you study and work on the course 3-4 hours a day (for those of you who have done them)?
So, I'll post my credits again at the bottom, and hopefully everyone can help me once more.
I'm scared that some of the template plans I've done won't work because I don't know enough about the class equivalencies.
Can we put me together a BSBA in HR (or General Mgmt) utilizing as many Saylor, SL, and TECEP courses are possible (going from cheapest to most expensive)? If there's another degree model that you all can think of that would fit what I have better after considering options, feel free to mention it. If I can do it all online, I'd rather have that option.
Also -- I'll soon have the PHR certification, which TESC says on their website is worth 3 SH of credit. Feel free to utilize that in calculation.
I truly do appreciate everything. I'll check back and answer any questions or help how I can.

Remind again - are you not U.S. based? CLEP, DSST, and Uexcel do require in-person proctoring, but they are computer-based so scores report quickly and they are CBE. Also, is course tuition an option? (I ask because you have a few more options, even if in-person proctoring is a problem, using ePack. They are essentially TECEP exams, but you are given access to a bank of extensive quizzes as a study aid; think InstantCert, only the quizzes offered are made by the same people who publish the test, and the quiz questions are often remarkably similar to what shows up on the exam.
In your other thread, KayV laid out a pretty snazzy BSBA-Gen Mgmt plan, but it does require CLEP/DSST.
http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...post173341
Speaking of, have you resolved the account and transcript issues with APUS? At a minimum, you will need to do that before the graduate school part of your plan kicks into gear.
Given KayV's already set out the Gen Mgmt option, I'll only touch on the HR Area of Study section. That said, the HR spec is not CBE-friendly, unfortunately. One of the three mandatory courses does not have a CBE option anywhere (that we've found - at least not that I've read), and of the HR electives, the only CBE currently accepted is the Uexcel Labor Relations which proctors at a Pearson center only. That said, most colleges' online courses now use proctoring services like ProctorU (the service TESC uses for TECEPS) so that is an option if you have a logistics challenge of no nearby testing centers (military bases?)
HR Management - COMPLETE (with .34 cr waiver) HR Mgmt (MGT212 Baker): 2.66/3.00
Org Behavior - NEED ePack MAN311
Org Theory - NEED (find at online school of your choice as the usual sources here do not have an equivalent)
HR Elective - COMPLETE (with .34 cr waiver) Organizational Psychology (PSY231 Baker): 2.66/3.00
HR Elective - NEED Uexcel Labor Relations BUSX-360 OR Penn Foster Compensation Mgmt HRM210 OR Penn Foster Employee Benefits HRM320 OR Penn Foster Labor Relations HRM350
HR Elective - NEED BYU Managerial Leadership Development ORGB347 OR Penn Foster Compensation Mgmt HRM210 OR Penn Foster Employee Benefits HRM320 OR Penn Foster Labor Relations HRM350
Note: Mgmt & Supervision will not be allowed in the HR AoS, unfortunately; they treat it as an intro. course and will only apply it to your general biz electives.

Organizational Behavior can be completed with Straighterline. According to the TESC website, the Public Relations: Thought and Practice TECEP can be used in the HR area of study. Organizational Communication is another recommended course for the HR area of study. That is available as an ACE-approved course through Align Degree.

mrs.b: I'm in Texas.
Actually if it's all CBT, and reports quickly that might not be bad. The only reason I'd prefer online is because of scheduling, but I'm sure I can make it work. This is important, so I'll make time to be where I need to be for testing.
I'm certainly open to discussing all options, so tell me about the ePack thing.
I have not yet dealt with APUS, but that's on the horizon. I'm just trying to line everything up before I get started. I like to have a clear roadmap of where I'm going most of the time -- and certainly in situations like these. I prefer as few surprises as possible!
KayV: thanks so much for doing the plan for me. Tell me about CLEP? I'm actually not familiar with the process -- is it CBT, too? I've only ever done B&M and online classes, never any of the test-out stuff (and I've also never really researched it, so this is all really rather new to me).
If I have to take a class somewhere, I can probably deal with that. I'd just prefer almost all of the credit work to be test-out.
I prefer the most straightforward, simple path to get to where I'm going. I'd also prefer to the cheapest -- which is why I mentioned Saylor. If there's any of their stuff that will work, that's awesome, too. I guess really what I'm getting at is that while I know it's not possible to get everything I need in one place, consolidating what I do need into the smallest, cheapest, convenient package is what I'd ultimately prefer to shoot for. In the end, I'll do whatever I need to do, though.
Thanks again.

Just an FYI,
Penn Foster Financial Management transfers to TESC as FIN-301 Principles of Finance, it duplicates the DSST exam and fills the Business Core finance requirement.
If you need a Finance alternative in GMS area of study
DSST Money & Banking (TESC ECO-332)
Penn Foster Securities and Investments (TESC FIN-321)
TECEP Security Analysis and Portfolio Management (FIN-321)
TECEP Financial Institutions and Markets (FIN-331)
