Formulating a NEW Plan

How did this degree fulfill GEC requirement 2D for Creative Expression? https://app.smartsheet.com/b/publish?EQB...340f80ed57

They did not take any creative expression related courses at UMPI, and the Wiki states there is no Sophia alternative: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents

Aside from that question, I think I have sorted the rest of this out. I will take:

At Sophia:
Introduction to Ethics
Art History I
Spanish I
US Government
Introduction to Project Management with Microsoft Projects
Intro to Business
Communcation at Work

At UMPI:
MAT 140 Mathematics for Business
BUS 200 Intermediate Business Computing
BUS 244 Management Information System
BUS 240 Change Management
BUS 330 Marketing Management
BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Issue in Bus
BUS 260 Leadership
BUS 321 Human Resource Management
BUS 325 Financial Management
BUS 440 Business Analytics
BUS 415 Operations Management
HUM 103 Creative Decision Making
BUS 469 Strategic Professional Management
ART 107 (I am guessing this fulfills 2D? - Still Have Questions on This As I Have Not Seen It In Degree Plans But It Is On Wiki)
UMPI YourPath Orientation - NO CREDIT (To Fulfill 4C)

HUM103 fulfills 2D, or at least it used to be available on YourPace.

Now (starting in Fall 2023) the options are a studio art class at some other college, Study.com Hum 201: Critical Thinking or ART108 Graphic Design or an English Creative Writing class online with YourPace.

I just finished ART108 and found it interesting and useful, not particularly hard.

Thank you so much for clearing up the HUM 103 counting for 2D requirement for me, I was so confused!

That takes care of my GEC plan. I am bringing in 21 units of electives (optismistically) and 12 units of what I hope ends up counted as Business Core/Management and Leadership Concentration courses.

I will fulfill the rest of my Business Core with the below, but I need one more course to add to get to 60 units and potentially up to five more courses to add if some of College Prep and Accounting Units aren't counted for some reason. Do you know of more Sophia courses I am not taking yet that would apply as Business Core? I would prefer to keep using Sophia so I don't have to get grades sent from a bunch of different places, and it seems like people have being using Study.com for the issue. I am already planning on hitting 39 units at UMPI in total with these 12 courses and the 2D requirement, so I should be fine from that standpoint and wiuld prefer not to take it with them due to cost risks of potentially bleeding into a third term.

Sophia:
BUS 141: Introduction to Project Management with Microsoft Projects
BUS 101: Intro to Business
BUS 210: Communcation at Work

UMPI:
MAT 140 Mathematics for Business
BUS 200 Intermediate Business Computing
BUS 244 Management Information System
BUS 240 Change Management
BUS 330 Marketing Management
BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Issue in Bus
BUS 260 Leadership
BUS 321 Human Resource Management
BUS 325 Financial Management
BUS 440 Business Analytics
BUS 415 Operations Management
BUS 469 Strategic Professional Management

So I believe I have:
Total GEC Credits: 24/40
ULL Credits: 6/40
Elective Credits: 30/40 (If Accounting Transfers, If Not Drops to 21)
Total Credits: 60/120 (Or 51)

Which is great! That means I only have to take 20 (or 23) courses, not 30 like I orginally had on my linked spreadsheet.

Here is my question though: Needing 40 units of Elective, ULL, and GEC Credits seems like a strange number when you get 3 units per course as UMPI. Is there 4 unit courses that work to round off that multiple of 3 in each category, or do you need to take 42 units of each (which would mean 3 extra courses). Or potentially take only two extra courses (one ULL, and one GEC that can count 1 of the 3 units towards the elective category?)

Science has a 4-credit class for the GEC. For DegreeForum users, it usually means Human Biology (3 credits) + Human Biology Lab (1 credit). For electives, anything "left over" from the other sections goes here, AFAIK. But it's usually better to have a few extra credits from Sophia, just in case. It's rare that degrees, especially "hacked" degrees, are ever exactly 120 credits.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I would probably take a couple of courses at SDC to get down from 14 courses - I think that's a lot to do in 2 terms. Usually, people here are completing 2 terms with closer to 10 courses, and then more = 3 terms (not 100% of the time but in general). If you spend $235 at SDC, you save a potential $1500 at UMPI, so I think it's worth doing.

Any of the following will count at UMPI for one course in the core or concentration:
BUS 303: Management Information Systems
BUS 304: Leading Organizational Change
BUS 209: Mentoring & Leadership Development in the Workplace
BUS 306: Strategic Human Resources Management
BUS 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising
BUS 307: Leadership & Organizational Behavior
BUS 312: Advanced Operations Management
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers  DSST Computers, Pers Fin  CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone  Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats  Ed4Credit Acct 2  PF Fin Mgmt  ALEKS Int & Coll Alg  Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics  Kaplan PLA
