It's in my home state. Their online programs have a good assortment.
Their tuition is as little as $159/credit for undergraduate, $277/credit for a Masters and $358/credit for a doctorate.
Tuition costs as of Fall 2023: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tmf0weH...8dZtp/view
List of online programs: https://academics.georgiasouthern.edu/online/
I am beginning my Master there in January but thought I could pass on the list of courses and tuition costs for their online program. I can't really speak to what platform they use or about the teachers, exams versus writing, etc. Just wanted to give a very affordable option for those seeking it.
Current Degree Programs:
PhD Sociology - TWU - 2028? 2029?
MS Psychology - Walden - 2026
Finished Degrees:
AAS Board of Governors -PC&TC 8/2021
ASBA (cum laude) - Franklin University 9/2022
BS Social Science (cum laude) - Franklin University 12/2022
MA Social Science - GSU - 5/2025

Very interesting indeed. I am curious…. For out of state, they say N/A. Does that mean same price…. Or that it’s not available to those out of state?

It looks like that's on-campus tuition. At finserv.georgiasouthern.edu/bursar/ select a semester's tuition and fees schedule, then "Online Programs," and you'll see online-only rates much less. Nothing over 200 per sh undergraduate, any state. The MS in Computer Science, 277 per sh for fully online students from any state.

Seems like a good program, you can always look at the courses and make sure these are the content you want to learn, sometimes subject matter doesn't jive with what you're interested in, there are others in the grad section that are between 10-12K as well...

I thought 277 a credit for masters and under 400 a credit for a doctorate was very competitive with some of the universities talked about here so I wanted to show some love to them and let y'all decide. For me it was a no brainer. It is very hard to find a Master of Social Science online, so to have it in my home state was wonderful. I wish they had a doctorate I was interested in because their price is half of what I will be paying for my doctorate.

Doing well. They're on FOLIO which is a D2L Brightspace platform. Classes are well done, reading and writing heavy. They have mentors, advisors, tutors, everything in place so you succeed. I'm three weeks in and very happy with my decision.

Throughout the thread their tuition has been discussed and there is some discrepancy for the costs involved, here is the link for their tuition and fees: https://finserv.georgiasouthern.edu/burs...-and-fees/
You can then decide which, Spring 2024 or Summer 2024, and click the Online programs link, you'll notice that the out of state tuition field shows N/A as they pay the instate tuition price. Amazing discounts for their programs, here's an example or two.
Doctorate of Education Educational Leadership 302.00
DPH with concentration in Public Health Leadership 277.00
