Passed
I made a pointed effort to remember some of the stuff from the test (usually I walk out & forget it all!!), so here's what I remember:
-quite a bit on different types of memory & techniques for encoding
-verrrrrrrry heavy on identifying teaching styles/issues of situation (I would say 60%+ was about situations)
-know Kohlberg's stages (more particular "symptoms" of the stages than REA gives. For example if someone in a certain stage stole something, why would they feel that was wrong?)
-a couple on Gardner's multiple intelligences (know WHAT they are, not just that he founded the multiple intelligences theory)
-several questions on ethnic/cultural/multicultural teaching stuff
-know general IQ test info (who, what, standard deviation, what normal/MR/above average/etc scores are)
-know a lot about what general philosophies' (behaviorist, cognitive, social, etc) ideas will look like in a teaching setting
I recommend taking this multiple intelligences test:
MyPersonality.info - Personality Types and Multiple Intelligences Tests & Information (it's fun, pretty accurate, and it will help you remember what they are)
In general I would say that REA is pretty accurate, just do some extra research on topics brought up in IC threads. I have a pretty extensive list of topics you should research in a word doc, PM me for it :]
