Got my EC diploma in the mail!
#1
I just received my Excelsior diploma in the mail today! It looks quite nice Big Grin . It says "Bachelor of Science in Business" (I was enrolled in the General Business concentration.) And there is a nice gold sticker that says "Summa Cum Laude" next to it. It came in a nice purple diploma cover with gold lining. I showed it to my co-worker and she commented that her UCLA college diploma didn't look half as nice. :p

Thank you everyone for your support and assistance! I couldn't have finished this without you!

Congrats! Isn't it a great feeling? Even when I finished my courses...without the physical degree in my hand, I still didn't feel like I really did it. Date of conferral for my degree didn't sink in until later when it was mailed to me.

Although I admit, a few weeks later I put in a box and put it in the basement where heavy rains caused my basement to flood...ruining everything...everything..except my Excelsior degree! It was a miracle.

Anyways, congrats!

Nice!

I'm wondering if I'm going to be hyped when mine arrives (October :ackSmile. I haven't really been to excited about finishing my AA, since its just a small milestone toward a bigger goal. Maybe when it arrives and I get to hang it up, I will get wild and do some of this: :hurray: and some of this: cheersmate.

Funny, I have seen many comments where people have complained about the look of an EC diploma, but the ones I have seen scanned and posted online have looked pretty nice.

Thanks all! LOL - I didn't realize until I re-read my message how many times I wrote the word "nice." There's a top notch, well-educated EC graduate for ya!!

I'm not sure what others were expecting, but at least 5 other people I know who graduated from very good schools all mentioned that EC's diploma looked much more professional and impressive than theirs, and many of them didn't even receive a diploma cover either.

I just bought a frame and will be mailing a framed copy to my parents who live in Tennessee. When I told my dad on the phone, he cried. I think it was the third time in my life I've ever heard my dad cry.
