Free MOOCs
I think MOOCs are a good resource, because they allow a student to take the course without having to pay for it, and then they can take the corresponding CLEP, DSST, or ECE exam. In other words, I think quality MOOCs are great exam prep.
Some of the resources listed in the article are here:
Duolingo -Foreign Languages
Iversity -German Based, but the languages appear to all be in English.
OpenCulture -Database with various free courses and certificates
FutureLearn -More free courses
