I took English composition at Penn foster ace 0194 to fulfill my ENC 101 at TESC.
I completed the course and ACE sent my transcript to TESC.
On my updated evaluation at the bottom of my evaluation for
ENC 101 I saw NC "G" course failed the minimum grade requirement.
My advisor approved the course before I took it and it is Ace approved
What should I do??
Please help!!!!

It doesn't sound like TESC won't give you credit, it sounds like you didn't get a high enough grade. Is that what happened or is TESC confused?

I think TESC requires a C or higher on English Comp. I believe this is the case for most schools.

I have a B from Penn foster. On ACE transcript, they do not put the grade (I did not see it there), they just listed the course you completed. so I do not get it.

It might be a mistake or maybe TESC wants to see the Penn Foster transcript too with the grade. Passing a CLEP is the equivalent to getting a C or higher, so TESC will automatically grant credit. For a course that you can pass with a D, TESC probably wants to see a grade since there is a strict requirement for English Comp.

I would definitely call TESC and find out why they didn't accept it. That doesnt make any sense.
Can I ask why you chose Penn Fosters class instead of SL? Just curious.

If you earned a B, and if the course is ACE evaluated, then you need to call TESC and tell them a mistake has been made. While that's happening, I'd call PF and double check that they entered your grade correctly and that it's on your ACE transcript correctly. It sounds like someone made a mistake, and when you're your own advisor, things like this happen- just follow up and find the error so you can get on with your next course.

Yes, I called TESC this morning and they did not evaluate my ACE Transcript yet. What they evaluated was the CLEP Composition Modular 1 (without the essay) I took back in January and failed and if I knew I was going to fail, I will not have CLEP sent it to TESC but anyway it's too late........
Make sense now, They should evaluate my ACE transcript in the next 20 days from what they said and hopefully, I will be done............. That was my last course. I already applied back in February for June Graduation and I hope they wioll evaluate my ACE Trancript soon...
I took the course at Penn Foster because I am not really familiar with SL. Also I took before BUS 421 Strategic Management and I liked it reason why I went back to PF for the English Class. I liked it but there was a lot of writing specially the Journal entries.
