Make sense now, They should evaluate my ACE transcript in the next 20 days from what they said and hopefully, I will be done............. That was my last course. I already applied back in February for June Graduation and I hope they wioll evaluate my ACE Trancript soon....

I think you are ready to contact the graduation specialist to get this through. Check posts by Bricabrac for more details.

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

Thank you!. Yes I emailed the graduation specialist this morning as well and she confirmed to me that the ACE is not updated yet. I also emailed her Ace transcript as well just in case.

Yes you can, It depends what you have left. I did not even know until I came accross a question that was asked about it on this website. I only had ENC 101 left and I was almost done with PEnn foster, After I spoke to the bursar offcie to extend my enrollment, they advised me to apply for graduation before my enrollment expired therefore, on the application I can list the course I am waiting for evaluation.
It has been a long road for me and i will not relax until I see that evaluation updated to show ENC101.

Ok, since I have counseled people to graduation up until 4-6wks prior to the conferral date I think I'm a pretty good judge on what is doable and not in this respect. I am going to try to answer you all with this post:

Yes, you can submit an application for graduation without having all credits posted to your transcript. How far past April 1 is open to interpretation. The verbiage on the request for graduation form in section three reads as follows:
"If there are transcripts that you believe have been received by the College but have not yet been updated to your program evaluation, please write the name of the institution and the number of credits below. Please be aware that this will delay the processing of your file for graduation."

Scenario #1 (hkhart) -If you are completing a TESC course in April, yes, you are good to graduate in June. Just include the final course/credits on your graduation form in section three. After you've completed your final send your mentor an email to let them know these are the final credits due for graduation and ask if they could post your final grade to the school asap. When you see the grade has updated on your academic evaluation (not my grades page) shoot the graduation specialist an email. She will then confirm the final grade/credits posted and send your file to be audited for graduation.

Scenario #2 (bldclot2/jtalama) - if you are completing exams by April 15th (April 30th at the latest). Follow the same advice regarding listing the outstanding courses/credits in section three and keep an eye on your accounts page. When you see the transcripts (dsst, clep, other college) have arrived (transcripts received), shoot the graduation specialist an email to let her know. She can then place an expedited request to have those credits evaluated and posted which is usually completed in one - three business days. Once complete she then sends your file to be audited for graduation.

Keep in mind the school has guidelines in place for a reason; but there are always special cases that are handled outside the general guideline. For example, better to have 20-40 special files to track than 1000.

Good luck to you all on finishing up soon!

If you need any other specific info just send me a PM. I check in once every day or so.

I called TESC on the last week in December as I had one Straighterline class to finish and the feedback was slow getting back to me on my papers, so I knew I would not hit the Jan 1 graduation application date. They told me that all classes had to be complete by then, so now I am making sure I have that class done by the Apr 1 deadline. I had no idea there was a graduation specialist and may have got a better answer from them. Thanks for sharing!

I am not sure how long it will take you to be done with the SL course but the deadline to apply for graduation is April 1 for June Graduation, so if you want to make the June Graduation you have to submit your graduation paper work before April 1st.
If I was you and If you know you are going to be done before end of March, I will submit my graduation and pay the fee and on Part 3 for the application write the course you are taking now. Therefore, the Graduation specialist will contact you.

You do not have anything to loose because in case they do not get your grade on time, the graduation specialist will move you to the next graduation.
