I took Human Growth and development last year, just doing Psych will help. I strongly recommend joining Instantcert. The flashcards are great if that fits your learning style, but any one who misses the Specific exam feedback is missing the best study suggestions.

It is a GREAT resource. I had a whole course planned out for me from the textbook but I feel like this is better. I guess I might still read through the highlighted terms in the book and go over them a time or two, but that will be considerably less time than memorizing the whole textbook! And I will be SO happy not to take the class - I think I've already said that? General psych was hard enough to sit through :\
