BS Liberal Studies at Excelsior. It took me 7 years to do the 2 years I had left. However, if I had done all the testing I could have done it in a year. I took 4 DSSTs the last month. If I had done that all along, it would have been quick.

Yes, I need to enroll in something quickly. I have $5000 a year from work towards tuition. If I do something like a non-California RN at Excelsior, a MBA at Patten, or a MBA at Western Governors University, it basically will cover all most all of it.

Congratulations!! You are never to hold to go for it if that is what you really want. I didn't get my BA until I was in my late 50's, I was going to go for an MAT but decided I would rather retire at 62 and not spend the money. If I wanted to work until I was 70 I might have gone for it. I would rather travel Confusedmilelol:

I'm 60 and have to stay competitive until I retire at 66. If I were younger I would feel that I have more choices. Now it has to be about what makes financial sense. Smile

Yes, if I were younger I would for for a MSN/RN/Nurse practitioner - but that doesn't make financial sense for me now. It's about $70K for the MSN/RN programs.
