Macquarie Global MBA

I'm seeing some AACSB accredited foreign institutions as being possible choices for an MBA post-TESU BSBA graduation -- Has anyone checked out Macquarie? The Aussie dollar is weak against the US $ right now and a Global MBA at $22,000 AUD looks to be about $16,000 USD for 1.5 yrs.

They also have 4 courses in the Coursera Mastertrack that you can take for credit in the Global MBA program for $5,500 AUD / $4,200 USD

MQ is a great uni, although given that this course looks to be very geared towards international students rather than Australian students, I don't know what the degree will be like (relative to Australian degrees). If it is, expect to be fairly self-sufficient in your learning, and the grading will be hard.

You might want to take a look at Deakin Uni's wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deakin_University and here's their Business School Accreditation website: https://www.deakin.edu.au/business - I suggest if you are looking for a slightly better ranked school, Deakin also has EQUIS accreditation in addition to AACSB.

Last but not least, you may want to take a look at the Deakin/Upgrad partnership, you can get the 2 year MBA for $7000USD!  This is the same program that is both AACSB & EQUIS, that is if you can handle the Upgrad portion of the program, they're a pretty "interesting  partnership... they're cheap in all respects, so the quality might not be up to par with what I want".  Here's a post I made, review the thread https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid304726

Thanks... Hopefully, I'm understanding your comment but I'm actually US-based so I'd be an Int'l student from the program's perspective.

Thanks, I'll check that out.. I'm exploring programs and deciding what I'd like to do having some trouble finding a low-cost real estate (finance/investment) based program. The Online MBAs with concentrations seem to better fit my situation in many ways. I'm looking at Mizzou, Gies, WGU and a few others right now and willing to check out International programs if the accreditation is there.

Australian universities are seeing their federal funding continuously cut, and so rely more and more on international student fees for survival. The net effect of this is that the difficulty can sometimes be 'adjusted' so that international students are happy and stay at the university and keep paying their high fees.

Not suggesting this is the case here, but it is happening in some unis. Just wanted to preface my warning about the potential difficulty of the course by saying it may not actually be that difficult, since their primary focus is international students, rather than Australian students (who have a lot less pull).

Deakin is also a decent university - and their student portal is the easiest to use I've ever come across. Their online course delivery is excellent (and better than MQs, imo).
My experience, though, is that they do have A LOT of students in their courses, though, so the 'seminars' are basically lectures, and the message boards are a mess of over a hundred students posting every day. The lecturers are excellent and organised, and the coursework is generally difficult but fair.
