This will only be the second cohort, so I couldn't tell you. Program was only approved last year.

Just an update on my end...

I was halfway through the admissions process when it became apparent that "public safety"  was not the general term for first responders that I am familiar with, but was a synonym for "criminal justice" for the school. 

My Masters by comparison is in "public safety administration" and was suitable for all first responders.

As I have no background in law enforcement and as I have no career goals regarding that field I had asked if I could substitute the CJ courses for something else. Upon hearing back in the negative, I have decided to look elsewhere for a more suitable degree.

I would also add that prices have increased to between 18 and 20,000.

I only see three required criminal justice courses in Middle Georgia's program. The rest of the core is public administration and research methods. The concentration options are emergency management or security analytics (basically information systems and white collar investigations). For the global diversity course, you can take international affairs instead of the criminal justice option.
