You must have UL CS courses. Any TESU degree requires a certain number of UL credits in the area of study. How easy or difficult this is will depend on the degree. Thankfully, getting UL CS credits for a TESU degree isn't difficult. You can fill the requirements with SDC classes and either the networking technology TECEP or a class from Coopersmith.

Every bachelor's degree will require UL courses.

A lot of core courses won't be UL because they are more like foundational courses. It might be possible, but would need special permission to substitute harder courses for the core courses. I don't think they would want you to do that, however. A harder course doesn't necessarily fulfill certain requirements.

Why would you NOT want to take UL CS courses? You might want to reconsider your major if that's the case.

With a Bachelor degree I would be surprised there were no UL courses.
It is only a different designation, they do not have to be necessarily harder, actually the opposite. After all the general electives in topics that do not pertain to what you like, finally a handful of courses focused on what you were meant to study.
If OP feels they should be LL maybe they didn't choose a subject they truly like.
