Thank you for all the replies. This is very helpful. I need to make a decision because I want to get this new position.I think that picking UMPI and finishing as fast as possible would be my best choice. I will maybe choose BABA or Criminal Justice.

@cj91, Welcome to the board... UMPI is a great choice and that's what I am going to recommend as well, everyone is going to give advice that may vary in regards to what they believe the ROI/Value lies in... Here's my take, do the Pierpont BOG AAS with an emphasis of your choice, after you have graduated, apply to UMPI for their BAS with a minor in Criminal Justice and another minor in Management, MIS, PM, or a combination of them.
Here's the thing, I usually recommend the trifecta of certs, degree, experience. You don't have to chase the goal of a BS Comp Sci, skip that in favor of your Business/CJ minors. Going for the Pierpont degree allows entry into the BAS (non-YourPace) program and you have the required 40+ technical credits from AIU. During your time 'waiting' for Pierpont to graduate you, complete your remaining Sophia.org and other classes for transfer to UMPI. In the end, you get the Pierpont BOG AAS, UMPI BAS (non-YourPace) degree. Some favor this degree over the BLS 'check the box' option, moreover, this is slightly easier than the BLS degree due to different requirements. In your shoes, I would immediately enroll at TESU and send in your transcripts. How they evaluate your credits might make your decision easy. It only costs $100, $50 for application fee and $52 for a 1cr TECEP.

You should list all of your credits from your JST, because there may be a lot. Every credit counts, so you want them all here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding a BACS at TESU The bad news: I think the main issues are going to be the LL/UL designation from AIU, because they have a lot of things as UL that aren't generally considered UL by most schools, so TESU may question all of those designations; and the number of credits, because not many schools are giving 8 or 12 quarter credits for things, so again, this gives them the option to question everything. The good news: There are no time limits for the CompSci degree: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/en/curre...uirements/ Degree Requirements In the degree programs listed below, if professional credits are more than 10 years old, a Demonstration of Currency (DOC) is required: Bachelor of Science (Applied Science and Technology) Associate in Science (Applied Science and Technology) For Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree areas of study and undergraduate business certificates, 50 percent of the courses may be older than 10 years from the most current date of application to the University and still apply toward the area of study. The remaining area of study credits must be current, completed within 10 years of the most current date of application to the University. Within the BSBA Business core, the Business Administration Capstone course has a currency limitation of no more than five years old in order to apply toward the Core requirement. If the course is older than five years, students are required to retake the current version of the course. The BA in CompSci does not fall under these requirements, and is not listed here, plus in 10 years, I've never heard that this was the policy. So I think you're fine. But if you were to have this as an issue, it would be easy enough to just retake any courses you needed to via alt-credit to "update" them. TESU just replaces the old credits with new ones. So even then, you'd be perfectly fine. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I were you, I'd probably apply to both TESU for the CompSci degree and UMPI for the BLS w/Management minor. Then, come back and post your eval from TESU so that we can see what they say about the CompSci degree. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For UMPI's BLS/Mgmt, I agree with rachel83az on what you should take, except that you prob don't need Art History I (you have a literature course already), and I'd also take Business Communication because it will work in the major, leaving space to take more UL courses that you'll need. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For TESU's CompSci degree, you'd need: Sophia English Comp II Sociology Ethics US Government 2 sciences Study.com COMPSCI 201: Data Structures & Algorithms MATH 108: Discrete Math COMPSCI 306: Computer Architecture (unless Network Architecture will work here) BUS 303: Management Info Systems or COMPSCI 302: Systems Analysis & Design Some of your IT courses won't work in the CompSci AoS, but enough will to make it worth doing. In spite of the people who will advise you to add on a BSBA/CIS degree, if you just want to do a degree as quickly as possible, I wouldn't take the time to do that - a CompSci degree is valuable in it's own right, and so just do that single degree and don't get distracted by anything else. The important thing here is speed.

The BLS with Management Minor can totally be completed in 1 session if you have the time to dedicate to it. Most people take 2 sessions, but 1 is possible if you have the time. You want speed and the BLS is definitely fast as a transfer student. Which focus would benefit you more at work? Would CompSci be helpful at all in your job? Management is pretty much always helpful especially if you want to be promoted. Just something to think about. If you apply now, you could start UMPI in October and graduate in December. I know the deadline on the website says September 19th but take my word and don't wait that long. It takes a few weeks to be accepted and then a few more weeks for transcripts to be evaluated. You can work on Sophia courses while you wait for the session to begin and then send an updated transcript over to UMPI.

It was a class in Spanish about the author Cervantes.
Is the BLS equivalent to the BA ?

The BLS is a Liberal Studies degree. It's a check-the-box degree, which works for some students and not for others.
With your previously-completed Business classes, I think a BABA would be about as fast for you as a BLS or BAS at UMPI.
