Need help with Straighterline courses?
#21
Quote:I am currently working in U.S History Straighterline course, I want to pass the course with an "A" and I am preparing for the midterm which they only tell the students to study for chapters 1-8. I really am worried because it is 250 points and I need to pass it with an "A" could you please give me some pointers of what I should study for the Midterm, how would it be?, is it more focused on something specifically?. Or what can I do to prepare myself to pass it with an "A"? I appreciate your honesty and help. Thank you for all your help, God bless you.

Midterm is mostly made of the tests you took before it. So it will only cover the chapters you already tested on.

It's all the chapters you've convered up until that point. You sure to have some of the same questions, but there will also be new ones. Its not difficult at all.

I just wanted to know if the English composition II course is supported by the iPad? Also on a scale from one to ten how hard is it? And about how long does it take? Is the tests quizzes assignments all open book?
Thank you very much for all your help

If you are comfortable writing then it's not difficult at all. Maybe it's a 5/6. Perhaps the most tedious thing would be reading Frankenstein. That's the most effort you will put into the course, aside from the writing assignments. It's all open book. Good luck.

I am taking SL Eng II now, all my quizzes are done and all of frankenstein with the exception of the 2 frank papers and 2 other papers. Hoping to be finished in two weeks. The papers are tougher topics but you can do it!

I still do not see my grades showing up in the "My grades" section. I emailed them and they told me I need to tell the grader to push it through and that they would do it for me this time. Does anyone have any info on how or when I tell the grader to push it through to the blackboard?

Anyone know how to get my grades to show up in the grades section for Eng Comp II? I still can't see them!! I'm getting frustrated!

I submitted a paper on Friday and it has still not been graded. The draft of that paper took me 8 days to get back. At this rate I would have been quicker and cheaper signing up for a traditional class.

Wow that's crazy, I just submitteld a draft this morning around 10am and by noon I already had the draft back. I just made the changes and resubmitted it for final grading. I'll let you know how long it takes to get the grade but I have been very fortunate to have at the most a 24 hour turn around time. But like I said I just cant get the grade to show up in the My grades secition.
