My "perfect" plan for TESC would involve knocking out the 24 credit residency requirements first (preferably the easier courses, such as the gen ed ones, for which you can also do TECEPs for) and then just clepping everything else afterwards; I ended up cornering myself in the process as I went ahead and did the CLEPs/DSSTs for the easier courses before hearing of TESC, and now have to take upper level courses through TESC just to meet the residency requirement.

Just throwing that out there; I'm doing the BSBA - General Management degree, which is one of the more flexible degrees out there, but thanks to my drive to CLEP/DSST as much as possible I didn't realize how little room I had left that I must do at TESC (and also how easy some upper level business courses are through CLEP/DSST).

Here's a site to help out for the general courses you can test out of: http://degreeforum.wikia.com/wiki/Sanant...on_Options; unfortunately I could not find one for the BSAST, although that might be cause of how specifically I searched for it.

Edit: Also wanted to add, commissioning programs tend to look at GPA heavily (and I believe through all sources); what I'm suggesting is to essentially secure your TESC GPA by scoring high on the "easy" courses you take through them for residency, then just testing out of everything else; CLEPs/DSSTs are just for credit after all, so your GPA will not be impacted in case you barely pass one.

That link's not working.
Sanantone's General Education Options - Degree Forum Wiki

The BSAST in Electrical Studies is not test friendly. Penn Foster might offer some ACE-approved courses that are applicable. You have to make sure the ACE approval is current.

Sophia Learning offers a self-paced, ACE-approved course in project management. Straighterline offers physics I and II with labs.

I guess I never said the actual degree. That is the evaluation for a BSAST in Technical Studies (not electrical studies). I'm not sure if that makes much of a difference. I picked it because my associates degree carries over to it well.

I compared the two quickly: Thomas Edison State College: Technical Studies

And there's a lot more flexibility with the degree you're after as far as courses you can take are concerned, but maybe not necessarily whether you can test out of it any easier (then again, they seem to be heavy on electives too).
