Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long it takes new Sophia classes to be evaluated by UMPI for transfer credit?
Sophia just added a new Criminology class that seems quite a bit more efficient than Criminology at UMPI. I'm considering dropping Criminology for this term and trying to fly through some elective history classes until the end of the term.
Just wanted to see if anyone had any idea. Thanks!!

The course was just added, so it’s unknown at this time. The similar class from Study dot com transfers in as SOC 230 Criminology but it’s not guaranteed that it will transfer as the same from Sophia.

Sometimes we have to wait until someone tries to transfer it in. Sometimes UMPI evaluates courses before someone tries to transfer new courses in. I haven't seen the 2 new courses on the transfer database yet. It can be a few weeks.

Those are pretty popular courses, so I expect to know how they will transfer by the end of August.
