Options for Audio Learners?
#11
Even if they aren't specifically tailored to CLEP/DSST exams, there are resources available to make it easier to pass the tests. If you find a good American History series on iTunesU, for instance, it will probably cover much of what you need for the American History CLEP test.

Besides which, the CLEP and DSST exams are not textbook-specific, meaning they don't rely on a single text to get all of the info they test on. They determine what you should know, and there's an outline of it on the website for each exam, and you can use any material to study for the test.

Check out ModernStates.org
They have a bunch of free CLEP-specific videos but you could definitely just listen to the videos (they don't really require watching). I really like them and have used them for 2 exams now.
CLEP recommends them too.
And if you complete the course, currently Modern States will pay for your CLEP exam!

Also, I think the great courses are a lot cheaper if you have audible.

If you look for a .pdf textbook that will prepare you for an exam, you can use a text-to-audio app to read it to you. As long as you're ok with a robot voice. I downloaded the openstax textbook for us history and am currently listening to it.

So another question...

What types of exams use ONE textbook? If you can get it in .pdf, you can listen to it with your phone off and in your pocket.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.
