		Dear Study.com,

You have been around here for a while now and we are so glad about that! It is time to take our relationship to the next level and give you a nickname, just like we call Straighterline "SL." What would you prefer? SC? ST? Something else?

Many thanks,

Your DF Friends

As much as I appreciate a good nickname (and definitely appreciate not having to type out a longer name), I think the nicknames offered would be hard for people to figure out.

I will admit that when I see SDC I think of Silver Dollar City.
Maybe just Study? I am very tired of typing the whole thing out on degree plans.

I write "Study" as a shortened version with a capital S. I also hate it when companies include the .com in their names, so the rebellious part of me never adds it in (SEO be damned) and I usually will write out study dot com. LOL

So many Ss: Study, Shmoop, Saylor, Sophia.... I am still going to abbreviate SL though.
I can deal with Study though, and I get not wanting to abbreviate too much. In retrospect I remember seeing SDC as an abbreviation in a post and wondering what that was.

Great question! We threw around some different ideas in the office today... "Study" is the best we could come up with. It's not as convenient as two letters, but it's clear who you are talking about.
