Passed Principles of Marketing!
#1
Passed Principles of Marketing today with a 63 and about 20 minutes remaining. Studied for about a week and utilized REA & PT, Petersons PT, Official CLEP PT, IC , and Specific Feedback. All this definitely helped prepare me for the test.

1 down and 20ish to go for my BSBA.
Setting a pace of 1 per week till the end of this year, Principles of Management is next, staying motivated Smile

Way to go!:hurray: From which school do you wish to get your degree? If TESC, have you considered Princ. of Supervision before the Management test?

TESC would definitely be my choice.
I have not considered that test much. I planned on taking it eventually but don't i have to take both of them?
Or does the Dsst Supervision cover the CLEP Management?

Also, what study materials for Dsst exams? I've used REA books for all my CLEPS, and i already bought my Management REA book :/
Which test do most people prefer?

The DSST is easier but they cover pretty much the same info. If you take Management and pass it, you could easily take supervision and pass it the same day with no study. Supervision, IMO, is the easiest DSST of them all.

Oh okay so the same study material should be sufficient.
As far as my degree plan, where does this fall into place? because from what i remember i was going to take Dsst supervision also because it filled a business elective or something along those lines..

I was looking over the BSBA Gen Management Degree requirements just to make sure, and under their Business Core, they require "Principles of Management" which is an UL class with the code MAN-301.
CLEP Principles of Management is equivalent to MAN-301, a UL course
DSST Principles of Supervision is equivalent to MAN-201, a LL course.

So i will need to take this CLEP to fulfill my Bus. Core requirements, although since you say DSST Supervision is the same material, i might as well take that a few days after instead of spending a week on it. That DSST will go under my Business Electives.

Correct. The DSST will be a business elective. I doubt you'll even need a few days of extra study. I actually passed Supervision after failing Management my first time around. If your testing center allows it, in all likelihood you don't even need a few extra days. That, you just 'gained' an extra week if you need to spend it on a slightly harder test (Business law or something).

How long ago did you take Supervision? I’ve heard different things about its difficulty since it was refreshed. I’m trying to get it done ASAP.
