Hi clep101,

Her plan looks great. Few thoughts:

She could use up to 25 FEMAs under free electives. If she wants to take sociology, great, but I would replace LIT 208/209 with FEMAs, unless she needs them later. Also, depending on the level of difficulty of modern middle east in your opinion, I might swap it for foundations of counseling PSY331.

I second those suggestions. I also have another thought for a "possible" easier 6 credits. Since she took elementary Spanish 1 & 2, how likely is it that she could get a high score on the CLEP Spanish exam? Even though the lower 6 credits would duplicate, the upper 6 wouldn't. So, unless she scored 62 (I think that's the cut #) she'd be even- but if she made it over, it's a sweet 6.

I really (really!) don't like history, so I used many of the TESC's social science/sociology/psychology courses for my upper levels in this degree. If she needs any alternative suggestions for courses, there are a lot of other options.

Exciting! I'm sure she's thrilled to be so close!!

Is my math off or do I only count fifteen UL credits in the concentration area? If she needs three more don't be afraid of Rise and Fall. I found it to be no harder than the Vietnam test and the passing score is low at 45. Running through the IC cards once and reviewing the study guide posted by Jwill in the exam thread scored me a 65. I invested four hours of study.

Good luck!

You probably see 15 UL credits because you counted the TESC course War and American Society as 3 UL, when it is 6 UL credits.
