Based on her courses attempted and grades, as well as the fact that she owns her own business, I think she might have great success with some of the self paced options like Straighterline, FEMA, and ALEKS. These can fit in and around her life and she'll have a lot of control over her success. I think testing would be an excellent "phase 2" once she gets rolling and has a solid plan.

Any chance that her business is in health/fitness/nutrition?

She was looking at nursing school and then served as a missionary in China for 5 years. When she came back she got a job working as a medical records specialist or something like that for an oncologist. She now runs a business in professional organizing and has quite a good network with local psychologists and counselors who specialize in hoarding and acquiring so her organizing business also has a therapeutic function. She doesn't just go in and fix it, she acts as an extension of the counselor to help deal with the root of the problem. They refer clients to her. She also does professional organizing for business and homes. She still works her day job part time but she is working to transition into just her business only and she would like to have some type of degree under her belt for networking purposes when she makes the final transition. This has been kind of a life long goal for her but she's always considered going the traditional route and then became intimidated when she saw the cost. For a long time, she just thought this was never going to happen like so many of us. I really want to help her realize this because even though her business is doing well right now (up to this point she's been keeping her job for insurance and networking purposes) I know she'll feel more comfortable networking if she has something when they ask her if she has a degree.

Thank you for all of your degree plans and ideas. I also received some through PM from KayV and I've sent her everything you've posted. I think she has an idea of where she's going to go with this at this point so I'll keep ya updated. I'll try to get her to login and post when she has time.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.
