Hi, All,
I'm looking for some feedback from folks who have taken Straighterline's Macroeconomics.
Reviewed the book and questions, did the two quizzes, but on the 40-question assessment, there were about eight questions or so that seemed to me were not covered in the chapter material or building on material in previous chapters. Has anybody else run into this?
There were a couple similarly "uncovered" questions on an earlier exam, but since it was only two or three, I guessed and moved on. Guessing at a fifth of the questions on an assessment doesn't seem reasonable. I had a solid B grade, but the last grade was the equivalent of a 70.
The advisor suggested that I try the tutoring, but my reply is that I can't know what to ask the tutor if the questions don't seem related to what was in the chapter, and the rule is no tutoring during the exam. Of course I didn't keep record of the questions. My message has been sent on to the writers.
I'm willing to do the work but am not necessarily willing to be blindsided.
Suggestions, or if you encountered this too, how did you tackle it?
Thanks in advance,
Sandy
