I didn't use the same resources when I took Chemistry so I can't say how they compare to the real test. I used Peterson Practice tests and got 55, 41, and 55 on them and then got a 55 on the real thing. Try checking with your local library and see if you can access the peterson practice tests through the "Testing and Education Reference Center." The experiment equipment questions just had pictures of different kinds of things you use in an experiment and they wanted to know what they were.
Also, check out Khan Academy for some great chemistry videos. Khan Academy
Hope this helps!

You're welcome! Those aren't bad Peterson scores. It's been almost a year since I took it, so I don't really remember much about the practice tests compared to the real one. I do remember very clearly that I thought it was a hard test. Not that you can't do it, but it's not something to take lightly. Yes, that's what I meant about equipment. I had very few questions on it. Like maybe 2.
I would also suggest that you check out this link. I always find them very helpful for my tests. Chemistry CLEP Free Study Guide! - Free-Clep-Prep.com

Hope this helps!! Good luck on your exam!
P.S. I realized that I gave you the wrong numbers for my practice tests. They were 41, 55, and 77.

For other links you could try this thread, but I don't know if they'll work since you're in the uk. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&...JSiQ21isWA From what I can remember I think that I thought the Petersons were a little easier than the real thing, but not by much. I don't know if I have much more info. You sound like you've got lots of good resources. Searching the forum might turn up a few more that you could try. Some other members might have some more suggestions for you too!
I wish you the best with your test!! Good luck!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has any tips on the Biology CLEP? I am using a few different study guides but would like to get a feel of what is on the exam and is it as hard as I think it will be to pass?!?
Also, anyone have an opinion on if the Natural Sciences is easier than the Biology CLEP?

I found the biology CLEP rather difficult. I got a 56 after studying the REA guide thoroughly. But you're using several different study guides, so you should be fine---that's what I should have done! There were a lot of lab studies data analysis on my version of the test. I didn't know where or how I could have studied for that, and the REA bk never mentioned anything like that, so it came as a rather unpleasant surprise. :/

passclepnow Wrote:Also, anyone have an opinion on if the Natural Sciences is easier than the Biology CLEP? Bio is one subject that you can concentrate on, but it goes deep. NS is broad but shallow—you don’t have to know as much about the subjects covered, and several different topics are covered, so it might be more interesting (it was for me!!)
