#1
I am confused: SDC Philosophy 103 now comes in as an elective. Can it still be used to fulfill a bunch of GE requirements? Thanks.

There is no such thing as SDC Philosophy 103.  That course is now called
Philosophy 301: Principles of Philosophy

And SDC Philosophy 301: Principles of Philosophy comes into UMPI as 2 courses:

  • PHI 151 Introduction to Philosophy 3.00
PHI 151 Introduction to Philosophy fulfills these GE requirements: GLO245:LO2A,B,LO4C,LO5D
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.

It is what it is, they've made some changes towards most classes, generally they will come in as general education or electives. There are some classes that will still hit some requirements for the majors or minors. Having said that, I would prepare for the 90 credit transfers for the general education and electives, and take the 30 credits or the major/minors. Your current Study.com evaluated transfer guide should remain correct: https://study.com/college/school/umpi.html

For Philosophy 301, refer to the details from LevelUP, as that's what stands as well. Here's a read from a few days ago in regards to the Study.com changes... https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid443324
Study.com Offer https://bit.ly/3RTJ3I9

In Progress: UoPeople BS Health Science

Completed: UMPI BAS & MAOL (2025)
TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)
