I just happened upon Scott Young, saying and doing the most exciting thing every- a DIY degree from MIT! He did a TED Talk outlining the plan and promoting self-learning and advocates colleges that have zero residency. Love this, and then, after you watch his TED Talk, go into youtube and you can watch every video in his week-by-week pursuit of his DIY MIT education! I think members here will REALLY REALLY enjoy what he has to say!
