Can anyone confirm if the *gift code* will work for someone who already has an account and participating in the free period? My girlfriend and I want to split this offer but already took a bunch of courses during the free period.

Because we both want it, so it would be best if we just split it instead of finding 2 more people to split 2 codes with.
