I completed World History AP during HS which I believe TESU recognizes at 6 credits.
On my plan I have one open slot for 3 credits in Knowledge of Human Cultures.
And one open slot for 3 credits in Electives.
World History fits both areas.
But will TESU let me split the AP World History 50% to both area's?
Sorry for the flurry of questions today, I'm just finalizing my end-game for TESU before I enroll!

Credits go into one spot only. However, if you have more credits than the requirement, they will reduce the number of credits you need for your free electives.

For what it's worth, a friend passed the AP American history exam, and that came in as two separate TESU courses, HIS-113 and HIS-114, so in that case, TESU did, indeed, split the credit. Probably would be the same here. Same with my CLEPs for College Composition and Analyzing/Interpreting Literature; both came in as two separate 3 credit courses.

Hey, If you wanted to see how they would come through for AP, it's very similar to their CLEP. As some CLEP/AP exams are over 3 credits, this is how it's distributed:

AP World History will come in as HIS-125/126, and so they will split it up 3/3. Many AP courses come in as 2 separate courses. Actually most of them - only a handful are not worth 6+ credits.
Courses that come in as one (let's say you took AP Calc AB and got 4cr), they would put the 4cr in whatever area - say Quant Literacy - and then would reduce your Free Electives area by 1cr (assuming you needed 3cr in that area, and you now had an "excess" credit in GE).

I'd like to add that you must check ACE to make sure your AP exam is worth ANY credit. TESU goes strictly by ACE, so there are some that aren't worth credit. AP World History dates are 1/1/2002 - 11/30/2023, so unless you got it prior to 2002, it's worth 6cr.
