If it is a B&M nursing school that is part of a normal college/university, first ask about whether or not they let you challenge (or test out) of a subject. I have done that for 2 courses.
Often the schools will allow you to test out of the subject by getting it approved by your counselor, paying a small fee, contacting the head of the department that teaches that subject and scheduling a test.
One test had 100 questions and the other had 200 questions, and they gave you a time limit, set you up in a room with the test, and when you left they got back within a few days with the results. In my case this cost me under $45 for 6 credits.

Good news. Sometimes it is just a "process" but it is also nice to have these types of discussions on alternatives, just in case someone else needs a few ideas.

What test are you referring to when you said the cost was under $45 for 6 credits? I am looking to receive three credits in natural science asap

It looks like P00057870 is describing a "challenge" exam which was probably offered at a community college. It's like taking the course final without taking the course. Barcotta has a great post about the process.
Edit: Please reconsider CLEP/DSST. I know you have been looking at your choices for these credits, since the beginning of the year.
