Exciting news!
I just got word from Study.com that their History and Systems of Psychology course has just been approved for NCCRS credit! The proctored final will be uploaded either this week or next. ACE recommendation is still to come, but this is awesome news for those of us who have to tick off this requirement.
Thank you, Study.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3cr, UL according to the NCCRS site. This is such great news!
I'm very jealous that this wasn't available while I was working through my Psych degree!
I need to go through my psych plan on the wiki and update it soon. Thanks for sharing this!

You're welcome. I'm so excited. I rented the textbook to try to do this course with Coopersmith, and I can't tell you how much I was dreading it. I'm just so relieved that I won't have to go that route now. I'm a really big fan of Study.com's format and approach.
What I'm not sure of is how to get the credit since NCCRS does not provide a transcript.

Apparently you have to go through Excelsior; I'm not exactly sure of the details but it involves transferring it to Excelsior somehow and then sending that transcript to whatever school you're at. But I'm just remembering what I read; I've never done NCCRS credit.

No, you don't have to go through excelsior.
NCCRS members-approved providers are responsible for sending the transcript themselves. There's no central system like ACE has. you just have Study.com send it to TESU directly.

We're excited to hear how happy you all are! We're working diligently to get more courses recommended for credit with both NCCRS and ACE, so you all have the best options available.
Thanks!

I've heard there's a new system now, Study.com said it themselves here on the forum - you have to go through EC.

Oh, well then I stand corrected. Apologies.
I'm assuming this is just a Study.com thing, then? I can't imagine NCCRS as an institution making this policy directly with EC. I went through the past couple months of Study.com's posts but couldn't find anything about this. Anyone have a link (or do you want to expand on it, Study.com?)
It seems like an odd move.
Does EC still indicate that the credit came from Study.com? Aren't like 100% of schools going to reject something that doesn't come from the originating credit source? I guess I don't know the specifics, but it seems like a bad idea.
