Study.com Practice vs Final Exam
#11
Practice tests don't count. Just the quizzes and proctored final. I don't remember having to memorize any formulas. I may have had to do some calculations, not positive though.
It wasn't super hard or anything.

I haven't done any of the practice tests but the quizzes I either got 100% or missed one and got 80%. Looks like you can retake them if you want. Strange that they want you to memorize formulas. They're all so similar that I have a hard time keeping them straight.

Only the quizzes count towards a grade, practice tests are just there for practice. The quizzes are worth 100 of the 300 total points in the course. But yeah, you can take them up to 3 times so getting 100% on the quizzes is not too challenging. There really is no reason why everyone shouldn't plan on that.

For most Study.com courses, the final exam is worth 200 points, so that means you only need 110 points (55%) on the final exam to pass.

For courses that have a project or paper(s), then the quizzes are worth 100 points, the project/paper(s) are worth 100 points, and the final is worth 100 points. Which means if you do well on the final exam you don't have to stress on the project, or if you do well on the project you don't have to worry about the final.

Hi all,
One additional thing to add about the quizzes - at the bottom of the quiz they have a tab that has the worksheet with answers. Meaning, it will have all the quiz questions with the correct answers so there is no reason you should get less than 100% on every quiz. I would usually take a quiz, see which ones i had wrong based on the quiz worksheet answers, and then retake getting the 100%.

I just finished the exam this morning and got 85 out of 100 correct, plus 100% on the quizzes. There was not 1 questions on any of the formulas and I spent an entire night studying those....lol

Now onto the next course!

That's odd, I have looked at those worksheets and have not seen the answers on any of them. All that's showing when I look at it are the questions and possible answers. The course has been frustrating because for the few I got wrong it will say "watch answer" but when I watch it, it doesn't apply or it's confusing. For one question in particular it's clear they are marking a right answer as a wrong answer. They give the answer very directly in the video and transcript but when I click on what that answer should be it tells me I'm wrong.  Angry Oh well I guess in the big picture having a couple wrong is not a big deal.

Good morning,
You can only access that tab below the quiz with the answers on a computer - the app doesn’t have that option for some reason.

I'm looking at them with my computer. It shows each answer, that's true, but it doesn't tell you which one is the right one.

It just gives a simple explanation, but not the exact verbatim choice.    it should be that hard to determine if you understand the info I would think.   I haven't had any issues, its just a bit more work
