Study.com emailed me a 20% off code last week and I attempt to sign up today and it's saying that it's invalid. I read that some folks here had the same issue last year when they were sent a code. I sent them an email to find out why. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it. It would be awesome to use that and the American Express savings. Is it common for Study.com to send out coupon codes? Is it common for them to send codes that don't work?

The code may have expired. Does the email include an expiration date?

You can try emailing support@study.com or whatever email address are available for them, I would also Private Message them as they log on the board somewhat often...

There was no expiration date on the email. Plus they had just sent it on the 9th so it hasn’t even been a week.

I was emailing back and forth with someone and sending them screenshots. But he couldn’t figure it out and said they’d continue looking into it and get back to me.

Off topic. But why didn’t I think of that ? Lol. 30+ million monthly students and teachers. X $30, $60 or $200. That’s awesome that the platform reaches and helps so many people. I would’ve never guessed that many people use it. Wow.

Yes, you should see how much StraighterLine and some other companies make from just the membership and courses (even when they give some courses away, free). They operate similar to a college (private online college, all the way up to ACE recommendation for credit) but don't have proper accreditation/licencing to be "a college". The ACE providers have the lions share, but there are some NCCRS providers that aren't doing too bad either... I've seen a few ACE & NCCRS credit providers come and go not only because of cost, but content as well.

They are probably giving them access for less than $10 a student.
